October has been a busy month. LAUNCH attended and participated in two industry events to gather new insights and proudly display our work. The National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) conference is one of the 50 largest annual trade shows in the U.S; LAUNCH attended to check out the most comprehensive representation of products and services for the convenience industry.
The NACS show is also the number one buying show in the country where retailers look to discover new possibilities to drive store traffic, increase sales and attract new customers.
LAUNCH developed trade marketing materials to give the Sara Lee sales team impactful sell-in tools at the NACS conference for a Jimmy Dean promotion that will be launching in January. Materials included sell sheets, a raffle, signage and video with ESPN’s Mike Tirico outlining the power of the program.
We also attended the Shopper Marketing Expo, where the “path to purchase” was the theme for this year. It was good to see the focus on social media, digital and mobile as they continue to impact the shopper’s journey and are areas of importance and growth for the future.
At the Design of the Times awards reception, we took home a Silver for the Slim Jim DARE Countertop display as well as a Bronze for the Orville Pop-Up Bowl Pre-Packed Display. Check out all of the 2011 DOT winners here.
We look forward to participating and applying our new thinking and leadership next year!
