Last weekend, the LAUNCH crew packed up their sunscreen and headed down south to Panama City for some fun in the sun. Well, some fun and a bit of work at Captain Punch Beard’s Party Plank event hosted by Sour Punch and created by LAUNCH.
LAUNCH developed a promotion for Sour Punch to give some eager Spring Breakers the ultimate surprise by bringing Captain PunchBeard’s Sour Punch Party Plank event to Panama City Beach, FL. We created the ideal event with an epic mechanical shark ride, fun challenges for prizes and plenty of tasty Sour Punch product and swag to go around.
To create awareness and to extend the reach of the event we developed a Facebook promotion prior to get the word out. LAUNCH developed a simple but awesome Facebook app that let the user pick three images and give them funny captions related to Spring Break. Then we let the Sour Punch fans vote for their favorite gut-busting entry. The entry with the most votes won and we sent the winner and three of their friends to the event as our VIP winners. Win Win!
While at the event, we asked the attendees to whip out their phones, like Sour Punch on Facebook and we gave them some cool stuff just for their “like”. This increased the Sour Punch fan by over 2,000 in just two days. Easy breezy.
Through this entire campaign, Sour Punch has increased brand awareness and created deeper engagement with their audience. It has also increased the number of smiles in the world and that’s why we love Sour Punch.
