Hello peoples. I’m going to attempt to show you my process and workflow for taking a static logo and animating it in 3D space. I’ll include very basic examples for ease of understanding and will avoid deep program descriptions or explanations. This will be a totally noob-friendly overview of how something like the “Tackle the Morning Rush” 3D animated logo gets produced. (Watch in HD for maximum epicness.)
October has been a busy month. LAUNCH attended and participated in two industry events to gather new insights and proudly display our work. When Launch created the “Swiss Auction” promotion for BERNINA, we knew we had come up with something unique and different that would drive traffic to dealers and help them sell BERNINA sewing machines. We just didn’t know that our industry peers would agree that it was a pretty special program.
Then in March of this year the program was awarded a Gold REGGIE. We thought that was pretty impressive, since we were competing with the best promotions in America. Now the Swiss Auction has been awarded a Silver Globe, an even more impressive feat, given the Globes are a worldwide competition between top award winners from 28 countries. With a panel of 140 judges from 22 countries, the Globes winners truly represent the best of the best. A total of 48 awards are given out, three in each of 16 categories, and in this year’s competition, the Swiss Auction was one of only five winners from the U.S.

My name is Erin and I am one of many new interns joining the Launch Flight Crew for the summer. I’m an Account intern on the ConAgra team (with a little bit of Salcomp mixed in), so I’m learning all about how an award-winning agency works. I started in mid-May, so I’ve only been here for about a month, but already I’ve learned so much. As a just-graduated University of Michigan Communications major hoping to start a career in the marketing field, this is the perfect internship for me.
We are proud to announce that three of Launch’s package designs for our Sanford client were recently featured in the March 2010 issue of Graphic Design USA! The recognized work includes attention-grabbing packaging for Sharpie, Prismacolor and Expo brands.
